Fans of Garnacha from Spain will appreciate this expressive, beautiful garnet-colored gem. Aromas of peach and violets leap ahead of a very juicy entry marked by raspberry, cherry juice and blood orange. Then, the complexity of this wine strikes home with its layers of saddle leather, orange pekoe tea, tobacco leaf, dried mint and sun-dried tomato. Held together with a firm structure, the wine is very fresh, showing depth, and certainly not overloaded with alcohol. A welcome relief for the jaded wine palate.
